The world's largest beach clean-up project is synonymous with a young Indian lawyer from Mumbai named Afroz Shah.In 2016, he received the UN's top environmental award - Champions of the Earth - for his work cleaning Mumbai's Versova beach.Afroz has been volunteering for more than two years to collect rubbish from Versova beach and teach sustainable waste practices to villagers and slum dwellers along the coastline and creeks.
